First game out and fix already out

After working on and off on Hive P v. S for the last few years it is finally finished. The project might not be that exiting, but it has been a nice experience of getting back to development and to go through the whole process from start to finish.

The goal has been to make games in a way that allow for quick iteration and manageable release on many platforms. Hive P v. S is released for browsers, Windows, Mac, Linux, iOS and Android. When working with the game it is possible to do code, level, audio, graphics work in the proper tool, while having the game running and updating accordingly. Both of these have been possible for me to achieve with my limited programing experience by using browser tech and to use Capacitor for mobile native and Electron for desktop native.

The game itself uses Preact, Bulma and PixiJS to get things happening in the browser. I used Preact and Bulma to be able to create a responsive interface that works for all shapes and sizes of screens. It worked well, but did create a bit bloated code, for the next project all will be "in-game" instead to minimize the dependencies.

Game is currently playable in the browser, on desktops and iOS. Android, Steam and MS store releases are currently being reviewed.

Next project will be another PixiJS based thing, this time combined with the most fantastic physics engine in development at the moment, Rapier. Written in Rust and also available as a web assembly release for browsers, it is able to provide performance unmatched and a very stable simulation. Worth checking out if not having heard about it before!
